BAC Education Group and ZICO Trust (M) Berhad Expand Tertiary Education Access in Scholarship MOU

BAC Education Group (BAC) and ZICO Trust (M) Berhad (ZICO Trust Malaysia) are partnering to expand access to tertiary education and the development of professional and industry-relevant capabilities through a new scholarship programme, formalised in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony.

Under the scholarship programme, ZICO Trust Malaysia will sponsor tuition fees for 10 students undertaking selected degree programmes in law, accounting and finance, and business administration, valued at a total of more than RM160,000 annually.

Under the MOU, ZICO Trust Malaysia will sponsor tuition fees for the 10 recipients for the full duration of their respective three-year programmes, as follows:

• Six students pursuing Bachelor of Laws degrees in the University of London International Programme through BAC in Malaysia.
• Two students pursuing Bachelor of Accounting and Finance degrees at Veritas University College.
• Two students pursuing Bachelor of Business Administration degrees through Veritas University College’s open and distance learning programme.

The scholarship programme is targeted at students from B40 family income backgrounds, who demonstrate strong academic performance and disciplinary standing throughout their respective registered programme. Scholarship recipients will serve a one-year employment bond with ZICO Trust Malaysia upon graduation. Additional eligibility criteria and terms apply.
